10 Steps to success in XOWii with Team Likwid Energy
1. Determine your “Why” and define your dream. It is widely accepted as fact that if you have a big enough WHY you can accomplish anything you set your mind and heart to. Determine your WHY. What is your DREAM? Make a decision based on your desired outcome. Write down your dreams and make them a focal point that will motivate you to ACTION. Share your WHY with your spouse and friends in the business, as this will help you stay committed.
2. Set some goals. “If you don’t know where you’re going, you’re sure to end up somewhere else” – J. Paul Getty. The level to which you succeed will be determined by the goals you set for yourself personally and for your business. You should set goals that are obtainable and measurable, and set a realistic date for their accomplishment. Sample goals: How many people will you share the product and opportunity with each week? How many people do you want to sponsor within a specific time period? What rank do you want to reach in the coming days, weeks, and months? Be sure to set short and long term goals.
3. Make some commitments. Simply writing down your goals does not guarantee your success. For your goals to be meaningful, you must remain committed to your plan. Deciding to invest some of your time, energy, and financial resources in your business will not only determine YOUR level of personal success, but also greatly influence those whom you bring into the business.
4. Build a list of prospects. Write down the names, phone numbers, and emails of everyone you know who might like to benefit in the area of health and/or wealth from this unique opportunity. Do not prejudge, but you DO want to pre-qualify your prospects. In time, everyone deserves the opportunity to at least see and taste our product. A quick list of at least 20 folks who are close to you or whom you feel most confident in approaching should be the first names on your prospect list. You will expand your list daily as you realize that everyone, young and not so young, local and long distance, white collar and blue collar, will ALL be open to hearing about our products and the opportunity.
5. Contact and Invite. There are many ways to meet, qualify, and invite people to see and share this opportunity. An easy way to begin the process is to invite them to your XOWii website or to the Team Likwid Energy facebook fanpage at http://facebook.com/likwidenergydrink . Don’t just send them to your site, walk them through it and show them the pertinent videos and information. You can also setup a one-on-one meeting with them to STP (SHARE THE PRODUCT or SHOW THE PLAN). You can invite them to attend a meeting in the area where the person hosting the meeting will explain the program to your guest FOR you. Often in the beginning, you’ll want to meet prospects over a cup of coffee or just a casual appointment. DON’T FORGET TO QUALIFY THEM. Tell them a little about XOWii and our network marketing model to see if they are interested in it BEFORE you meet with them. Nobody likes to be surprised. Use your upline to help explain or present the business for you.
6. Have a meeting and STP (Share the product and Show the Plan). Remember you are sharing the product and the opportunity, you are a messenger, not a salesman. There are 5 basic ways to STP: 1. Three way conference calls with your upline 2. A one-on-one presentation 3. Home Meeting 4. Open Meeting. 5. Webinar Determine which setting is best for each individual, and then choose the best format for them.
7. Follow up and follow through. Follow up is crucial to getting people engaged in your business. An effective practice is having a meeting to have another meeting. Make sure you share the product and the opportunity with everyone completely so that they get as much knowledge as they can to get started. Get people you enroll plugged in to our team. It is crucial for them to get involved so that you can duplicate yourself and your business more easily.
8. Get started. After presenting the plan, many people will not ASK to get started, instead, ask them what was the best thing they liked about the opportunity and then ask them if there is any reason they can think of for not taking advantage of it. Once a prospect says “YES”, you should say “Great! Who is the first person or couple we should talk to about the product and opportunity?” Then sit down with them and help them create their list of prospects.
9. Talk with your upline. This is an important key to your success. Tap into the experience of those who went before you. Although you are ultimately responsible for your own success, you are part of a team. As you rise in this business you will find that your success is determined by how many people you can help influence to become successful.
10. Duplicate the 10 Step Pattern and Yourself. You will find that your success will ultimately be determined by your ability to duplicate this proven 10 step pattern and yourself through those you enroll in your group. No matter what you do, those you bring into your group WILL duplicate most of your habits and commitments: good habits and not so good habits. Build your group and duplicate it. Lead by example.

Achieving Goals
Q: Why set goals?
Brian Tracy: All successful people are intensely goal-oriented. They know what they want and they are focused single-mindedly on achieving it, every single day. Your ability to set goals is the master skill of success. Goals unlock your positive mind and release ideas and energy for goal attainment. Without goals, you simply drift and flow on the currents of life. With goals, you fly like an arrow, straight and true to your target. One of the rules for success is this: It doesn’t matter where you’re coming from; all that matters is where you’re going. And where you are going is solely determined by you and your thoughts. Clear goals increase confidence, develop your competence and boost your levels of motivation.
Cynthia Kersey: One of my favorite quotes is by Abraham Lincoln: “The best way to predict your future is to create it.” Setting goals provides us with a way to create our future today by focusing our attention and daily action steps toward what we really want and then making them a reality. Setting goals works.
Q: Why do I keep setting goals and failing to see them through to fruition?
Brian Tracy: Most people give up before they even make the first try. And the reason they give up is because of all the obstacles, difficulties, problems and roadblocks that immediately appear as soon as they decide to do something they have never done before. The fact is that successful people fail far more often than unsuccessful people. Successful people try more things, fall down, pick themselves up and try again—over and over before they finally win.The two major obstacles to achievement are fear and self-doubt. The fear of failure, poverty, loss, embarrassment or rejection holds most people back from trying in the first place. Small fears overwhelm them and, like a bucket of water on a small fi re, extinguish their desire completely.
The second mental obstacle, closely aligned to fear, is self-doubt. We doubt our own abilities. We compare ourselves unfavorably to others and think that others are somehow better, smarter and more competent than we are. We think, I’m not good enough. We feel inadequate and inferior to the challenges of achieving the great goals that we so want to accomplish. If there is anything good about doubt and fear, it is that they are learned emotions. And whatever has been learned can be unlearned through practice and repetition
.Q: Is there anything I should think about before sitting down to write my goals?
Cynthia Kersey: Before sitting down to actually write your list of goals, I encourage you to first take a moment to discover something deeper—your purpose. What gives your life meaning and gives you personal satisfaction? What are the unique gifts and insights that you can contribute to your world? Your purpose will fuel your efforts and give you the drive to continue in the pursuit of your goals, no matter the challenges.
Start by writing How I Want to Be Remembered. List the qualities, deeds and characteristics for which you would like to be remembered by your friends, spouse, children, co-workers, the community, and even the world. If you have special relationships with other people or groups, such as a church or synagogue, club or team, include them on the list, too. You will begin to uncover your true values and the sources of meaning in your life. Being clear about your purpose may be your single most important accomplishment
.Q: OK, I have a goal list, now what?
Jim Cathcart: Figure out which items matter more than all of the rest. Ask yourself, “If I got this one, wouldn’t all of the others come along for the ride?” Often, when we achieve our one big goal, we get a whole truckload of other goals as part of the process. Don’t worry about achieving all of them, just make sure you achieve the few that you really care about. The others will come.
Brian Tracy: Plan.Make a list of everything that you can think of that you will have to do to achieve your goal.Organize your list by priority.Organize your list by sequence. What must be done before something else is done?Determine how much time and money it will take to achieve your goal or complete your task.Revisit and revise your plan accordingly.
Q: What advice do you have for helping me stick with my goals throughout an entire year?
Jim Cathcart: Manage your mindset. Surround yourself with people and things that keep you focused. Take charge of whom you spend the most time with. Manage your workspace and home settings so that you are reminded of your goals and your commitments. Form habits that lead to your becoming the person you’ll need to be. When you form the habit of starting your productivity earlier in the day, associating with more positive people, managing the news and information you feed your mind, controlling the language you use— especially the ways in which you describe yourself—you will find it easier to succeed. Become the person who would achieve your goals and who would deserve them.
